Are you interested in joining an organization dedicated to making a difference in the lives with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities? Noble is actively seeking an Art Specialist to join our team. This position will be focused  on utilizing art, community resources, volunteering and education as a means of exploring interests, talents and career paths.

The Art Specialist will work with a group of 8-16 Noble clients on a daily basis in the above areas, with a focus on exploring art in a fun and creative way through the exploration of various mediums. We are looking for a talented artist who has experience with various types of art, is self-motivated, organized, and able to meet deadlines. Qualified candidates will have the ability to make community connections and secure community art projects, speakers and guests to work with clients. The hope is that the Art Specialist will bring other ideas to help build a foundation of success for this program.

The position is a Full Time position, Monday-Friday at Noble's East side location, near 21st and Shadeland.

Requirements: 

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must be 18 years of age or over 
  • Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle and auto insurance with coverage limits of $50,000/$100,000 for bodily injury liability and $50,000 for property damage 
  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs; stand, walk, bend and reach frequently throughout the workday 
  • Criminal history checks, review of driving record, and drug screen are conducted prior to employment.
